TERMS & CONDITIONS

If you've booked a cruise with SeaCab, you're cool with the terms and conditions we've laid out here. And if you're bringing buddies along, it's up to you to give them a heads-up about these rules before they hop on board.

Pricing

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • All prices stated are in New Zealand dollars and include 15% goods and services tax.

Payment

  • Full payment must be made at the time of booking for all scheduled departures.

  • For private charter bookings, a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking for the day at time of booking. The full amount is required 14 days before the departure date.

Refunds & Cancellations

  • Scheduled tour bookings are fully refundable if the customer cancels more than 24 hours before departure or the operator cancels the departure, and an alternative date cannot be arranged.

  • Scheduled tour bookings are non-refundable if cancelled within 24 hours of departure or for a no-show.

  • To cancel a scheduled tour, clients are to contact SeaCab by phone or email 24hrs before departure.

  • Scheduled tour departures are subject to minimum numbers, and sea and weather conditions.

  • SeaCab reserves the right to cancel departures in the interest of passenger safety and comfort, a full refund will be provided

  • SeaCab reserves the right to alter proposed routes or cancel any departure in the interest of passenger safety and/or comfort.

For private charter cancellations cancellations by the guest:

  • cancellations prior to 30 days from the charter date will forfeit 20% of the charter fee.

  • cancellations within 30 days of the charter date will forfeit 30% of the charter fee.

  • cancellations within 14 days of the charter date will forfeit 50% of the charter fee.

  • cancellations within 7 days of the charter date will forfeit 100% of the charter fee.

  • in case of a no-show no refund will be given, 100% charter fee will apply.

For private charter cancellations cancellations by SeaCab:

  • SeaCab reserves the right to cancel departures in the interest of passenger safety and comfort, a full refund will be provided

Departure

  • We do not guarantee that your tour will take place at the scheduled time. Schedules may change without notice for a variety of reasons including, but not limited to, bad weather and technical disruptions. Scheduled times do not form part of your contract with us.

  • All departures are subject to demand, sea, and weather conditions.

  • Passengers must be present at the Russell Wharf 15 minutes before the scheduled departure. There is no refund available for those passengers who arrive late. The boat will not be held for you if you arrive late at the departure point.

Disclaimer

  • To the extent permitted by law, SeaCab holds no liability for damage to you or your property. This is subject to any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

  • To the extent permitted by law, we hold no liability for disruption to your travel plans. We recommend our guests hold a comprehensive travel insurance policy in case of any unexpected changes in their travel plans that may incur a cancellation fee.

  • For the comfort of all passengers and in accordance with New Zealand government legislation, we do not allow smoking or vaping on our vessels or vehicles.

  • We observe host responsibility on all our vessels and locations and reserve the right to refuse any passenger who appears intoxicated at the time of boarding. BYO alcohol is not permitted on board any vessels.

  • Where food and beverage is purchased we take no responsibility for dietary requirements or food allergies not advised prior to departure.
